new compact 3-axis nano positioner: TRITOR 50 CAP
piezosystem jena, the specialist for nanopositioning systems, has expanded their TRITOR line of field tested and well known positioners with the TRITOR 50 CAP. This nanopositioner provides a travel range of 50 microns. Specially designed solid-state hinges afford a guidance without friction, free of mechanical play. Highly dynamic features were generated by a specific, mechanical FEM-optimized design of the actuators. The outstanding sub-nanometer resolution in open-loop operation and one nanometer in closed-loop operation guarantees high precision positioning ability.
With a size of only 55 x 42 x 35 mm3 the system is an ideal compact solution for many applications.
An integrated capacitive measurement sensor system eliminates hysteresis and drift, and provides an extremely high stability, linearity, and repeatability in closed-loop operation.
The TRITOR 50 CAP is also available as in a vacuum and cryogenic version.
Because of the outstanding specifications of the TRITOR 50 CA,P this nanopositioning system is particularly qualified for applications in optics, biology, for laser tuning and fiber positioning, as well as for scanner systems.
